Commercial Deck Driver - Team Drive-Away (Bloomington, IN) in Bloomington, Indiana For Sale

Team Drive-Away is a driveaway carrier which uses contract drivers to move class 8 semis across the US and Canada for many different of customers. We have openings in our most lucrative line of business decking (Piggy-back). Business is booming and we need deck drivers. There are very few driving jobs out there that offer the kind of freedom driveaway offers with this kind of pay. Our average deck driver clears 80k 100k per year.
For the first time ever Team Drive-Away is offering our training to become a deck driver for free. During the 10 days of training you will learn the aspects of the driveaway business you will need to be successful. Flatbed drivers and movers are a great fit in this industry!
However, this job is not for everyone! You must be willing: -To work outside for periods (while decking and undecking the units) -Have some mechanical aptitude (previous mechanical experience is a huge benefit) -Be willing to travel across the US (requires OTR driving) -Manage your own time and money (you will be running your own business) -Extend excellent customer service
You must have: - 2 Years of commercial driving experience -Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples Endorsement -Clean driving record (no more than 8 points per our insurance requirements) -No more than 3 violations in each of the CSA categories (hours of service, driver fitness, etc ) -The physical ability to carry up to 100 lbs. for a short distance repeatedly.
The Training Process: -If you are selected to join the training you will come to the office for safety orientation the first day -You will proceed to the training facility for the following 9 days for deck training with Team Drive-Away s trainers -If you successfully complete the training you will go out with the trainer until you are comfortable with the decking / driving process What Team Drive-Away Covers: -Hotel Stay for the duration of the training -$ 50.00 per day in per diem during the 10 days of training -The equipment you ll need to deck trucks (leased equipment value held in escrow until the driver pays the company back)
What the Trainee will need: -A desire to learn the decking process -A desire to BE SUCCESSFUL IN DRIVEAWAY!
