Noveske AR-15 N4 Light Recce Complete Upper 223/5.56NATO 16" Barrel 1:7 Twist. Noveske is one of the premier AR manufacturer's in the Untied States. The N4 Light Recce Basic Upper Assembly comes fully assembled and ready to drop on to any standard AR-15 lower receiver. The barrel is chrome lined cold hammer forged and made here in the United States. The cold hammer forging process hardens the steel around a rifled mandrel, which creates the lands and grooves. The barrel is then chrome lined to the spec for a M249 Machine Gun barrel, which is about twice as thick as that of an M4 barrel. The barrel is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and can safely shoot .223 Remington. M4 feed ramps are incorporated into both the barrel extension and upper receiver for reliable feeding. The N4 Light Recce Basic Upper features a Mid length gas system & comes complete with Mid length A2 style hand guards.
