Responsibilities The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will meet and/or exceed performance objectives in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customer targets. The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will deliver specific presentations of client's products to physicians and other appropriate health care professionals by utilizing a customer engagement selling model. They will also effectively utilize and manage all client approved resources to optimize customer engagement. The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will also plan and execute medical education programs, speak at dinner programs, and in collaboration with internal and external partners, build customer loyalty and position client as the leading company in appropriate therapeutic areas. Requirements Bachelor's Degree Required, Advanced course work in Business/Sales Management preferred 2+ years of successful pharmaceutical, medical device or medical diagnostic sales experience required Diabetes sales experience strongly preferred injectable highly preferred Proven ability to work within all regulatory, legal and compliance parameters Must possess excellent presentation and selling skills, strong business acumen Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Proven oral and written communication skills Track record of sales success Ability to effectively communicate scientific and clinical information within the specified disease state, along with the client's product Must have solid analytical, technical, and strong customer service focus in order to exceed business goals Key Competencies Integrity Customer Focus Team Work Business Acumen Influence and Persuasion Decision Making and Problem Solving Benefits : At inVentiv Health, we believe in providing an environment and culture in which Our People can thrive, develop and advance.
