Position Overview: Responsible for clerical and secretarial duties for the Facilities Plant Ops Department. Secretary responsible for: Answering workorder line phone and relaying messages via two way radio; Entering WorkOrder Request and other information in Department WorkOrder System; Serving as Department liaison between Customers and Maintenance Department; Maintaining and Updating Department Policies and Procedures and Followup Vendor Logs; Scheduling Meetings and Taking Meeting Minutes; Assisting Director and Mangers with Lawson Purchase Requisitioning; Making phone calls to vendors and contractors; Sending RFPs and RFQs to vendors and contractors; Mail Distribution and ordering office Supplies; Filing and record keeping; Supporting EOC Chairman in monthly EOC Meetings; Tracking and entering Utility Bill information into excel spreadsheets and other applications; Assisting Director with and gathering information and data related to Property Leases and Maintenance Operations; and Generating other department reports using Excel, Word and Power Points as needed. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED is required. Minimum Experience Requirements Prior experience in a business office setting preferred, experience with Microsoft Office.
