Associate/Full Professor-multiple positions: school wide effort - (Bloomington) in Bloomington, Indiana For Sale

The Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington (SPH-B) invites applications for multiple tenured Associate/Full Professor positions by individuals who would contribute multidisciplinary perspectives, conceptual and methodological diversity, and research leadership and mentoring strengths to the schools efforts to address at least one of the following school priority areas: physical activity, chronic or infectious disease, sexual and reproductive health, mental health, or global health. Senior level applicants with a research team are highly encouraged to apply as cluster hires are available for the successful candidates team. This is a School wide effort that is open regarding the academic department in which the appointment can be made. The anticipated hire date for these 10-month appointments is August 1, xxxx although an earlier hire date is possible. Responsibilities: Conduct research and engage with other faculty in collaborative teaching and community engagement efforts related to the schools priority areas. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a doctoral degree from an accredited school of public health, school of medicine, or related educational institution. Candidates who have at least one graduate degree in the core disciplines of public health are encouraged to apply. Candidates must also demonstrate a record of extramurally funded research, current funding, and the ability to collaborate with others across disciplines. Additionally, the candidates must provide evidence of the ability to secure funded research grants, conduct research, write for peer reviewed publications, and teach in the candidates specified area of expertise.
