For steam cleaning:
In a machine where there are separate compartments for solution and water, do not dilute the Genesis 950. These machines are designed to mix the solution and the water based on your cleaning setting. In machines where the water and solution are mixed, combine the two based on the size of the tank. We do provide measuring ratios for these type of machines with the product. Slowly steam clean the carpeting. As the Genesis 950 and water are d into the carpeting, it will get deep down into the carpet to loosen all the dirt, grime and stains, deodorize the area and kill any germs and bacteria deep down in the carpet. After you have first cleaned the carpet with the mixture of Genesis 950 and water, repeat the cleaning process using only straight water. This will flush out and extract everything that has been loosened. You may have to repeat this process depending on how dirty the returned water is. The dirtier the returned water, the harder Genesis 950 is working.
